The Stability Builders Network at Family Promise is a coordinated community response to ensure the needs of those struggling in our community are met, while creating an opportunity for long-term stability. The Network also fills in service gaps in our community by establishing new programs and initiatives to address unmet needs. In 2021, the Network ended homelessness for 105 families and prevented homelessness for 585 families!
Instead of referring families OUT for assistance, the Stability Builders Network brings the community resources IN to meet needs. With one phone call, families receive the assistance needed to create stability.
Family Promise receives the crisis calls, provides assistance and connects needs with volunteers, churches and agencies that can help. A needs assessment is completed and appropriate crisis intervention is provided. Family Promise continues to work with the family/individual to create or maintain stability for up to two years as needed.
