Family Promise of Hendricks County remains committed to ending and preventing homelessness in Hendricks County, even in these trying times. This includes emergency housing, rent and utility assistance along with many other stability services.
We are requesting an Eviction Moratorium for the next 60 days in Hendricks County for those impacted by COVID 19 through job loss/cuts or the inability to work due to illness or child care responsibilities as a result of school closures. We believe it would be dangerous to evict people from their homes during this national emergency. No one should have to worry about losing their home during this crisis.
Landlords and Property Managers, please have individuals or households facing eviction contact Family Promise for assistance. This may include rent payments along with stability services such as utilities, child care, transportation and job placement.
