Family Promise of Hendricks County is excited to announce the opening on June 1, 2020, of an additional Resource Center in Brownsburg – located at the Brownsburg Community School Corporation Harris Academy –  725 S. Green Street, Brownsburg.

An additional site to serve those struggling in Hendricks County was planned prior to the COVID crisis, but it has intensified our efforts to secure a location and open our doors.  The distance between Plainfield and Brownsburg can feel more like 100 miles than 10, when a family is struggling for enough money for gas, emergency housing or basic needs. A presence on the north side of the county will ease our service delivery and also help us reach those in need.

We are grateful to the Brownsburg Community School Corporation for being so accommodating and partnering with us to ensure all in our community have a home and the stability needed for families to thrive.

Our doors are open for all in need weekdays from 9AM to 5PM.  This Center serves as hub where those struggling in Hendricks County can access emergency housing, permanent housing, rent assistance, utility assistance, childcare, transportation, employment assistance, all basic needs and life skills to achieve stability. Family Promise Advocates provide all the services and support needed to fast-track those struggling from poverty to sustainable independence.

Donations accepted on site.  Please contact Lisa Ochoa at 317-296-3742 for more information.
